ADAM BARNES DIED IN OTTOWA SANITARIUM
Adam Barnes, 62, Athens, died at the Ottowa sanitarium Wednesday, December 27, 1939 at noon, following an illness of one year. He had been a resident of this city for the past thirty years.

Surviving are four daughters, the Misses Nellie, Josephine, Anna and Antoneta Barnes; four sons, Stanley, Victor, Walter and William; one sister, Mrs. Alex Smith, all of Athens.

Funeral services will be held at 9 o'clock Friday morning at the Holy Family Catholic church, Rev. Fr. Lennartz officiating. Interment will be made In Hall cemetery.
