MRS. ANN E. BROWN, DIES AT EARLHAM, IOWA
Mrs. Ann E. Brown, daughter of the late John Nelson and Sarah Hall was born in Athens, Illinois, Aug. 10, 1844 and died at her home in Earlham, Iowa, Oct. 27, 1938.

In February 1863, she was married to James Brown of Sweetwater, Illinois. A few years later they moved to Earlham, where they made their home. Her husband preceded her in death a number of years ago.

She leaves to mourn her death four children, a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two brothers, John L. Hall, Boise, Idaho; Robert L. Hall, Mooresville, Mo., and a sister, Mrs. A. L. Campbell, Athens, Ills.

Funeral services were held in the Presbyterian church at Earlham, in which church she was a charter member and attended there long as her health permitted.
