Death of Mary Brewer Burns.
Died, at Polo, Mo., March 26, 1910, Mary Brewer Burns, aged 49 years, 1 month and 9 days. The body was received here over the Chicago & Alton Monday morning and the funeral was held at the Baptist church, Monday, March 28, 1910, at 10 o?clock, conducted by Rev. W. F. Thompson.

Mary Brewer, daughter of ex-Sheriff William Brewer, was born February 17, 1861, near Petersburg, Illinois. She was married to Robert Burns in 1881, who, died in 1892. To them were born three children, Harry, Ellis, Carrie, all of whom survive.

She was converted in 1866 and at once united with the Baptist church, and has lived a consistent Christian life.

The burial was at Rose Hill cemetery.
