WESLEY RAY CLINE PASSES SUDDENLY
He was united in marriage to Ethel Eddy of this city, February 18, 1914, to whom two daughters were born, Audryn and Gwendolyn, both at home.
Deceased has been a stock man for a number of years. Due to an opening at the Springfield Stock Yards, he became connected with the Strain & Canterbury commission firm. Severing his connection with that firm three years ago, he went into business for himself.
Mr. Cline had been ill since Thursday of last week suffering from a "strep" infection of the throat. His condition was not considered serious and went to Springfield last Saturday morning where he reported at the commission office. He suddenly passed away at 9:00 a.m. Monday morning, August 28, 1939, and his funeral is being held just three weeks from the day his mother passed away.
Besides his wife and two daughters, he is survived by his father, Allen Cline, one brother, Otto; four sisters, Marie and Elna, Mrs. Elsie Cantrall and Mrs. Eliza Radiker, besides a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held at the Christian church, this Wednesday afternoon at 2:30. Rev. Donald J. Findley officiating. Interment in Hall cemetery.
