Death of W.H. Marbold
B.F. Marbold, Greenview, Ill., wired to W.T. Cox that his father Henry W. Marbold died Sunday night at the age of 82. Mr. Marbold was a big land owner, having about 3,500 acres in Menard county. He began shipping to Chicago when these yards were opened and was a great feeder of good cattle, usually having 400 to 500 in preparation all the time, and he invariably marketed his own feeding. Mr. Marbold had been in declining health for some time and while death was a shock it did not take him unawares, as he had his affairs all carefully arranged. His wife passed on about seven years ago. He is survived by a daughter and two sons, Mrs. Warsing, H.J. and B.F. Marbold. Henry Marbold was certainly a man of sterling character and had a host of warm friends.
