AMANDA WORKMAN

Mrs. Amanda Workman was born in Morgan County, Illinois, July 23, 1834 and died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Henry Baum, near Tice, April 19, 1914 at the age of 79 years 8 months and 26 days.

She is survive by her husband who is 87 years old, one son, two daughters, eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren, who mourn her loss.

Mr. & Mrs. Workman walked life's pathway together for 62 years.

She was the mother of eight children, five of whom passed on before.

In her youth the deceased united with the Methodist Episcopal Church, later on because of nearness she united with the Dan____? Church and spent many years in friendship and service with them.

The last few years she and her husband have lived with their daughter Mrs. Henry Baum.

The deceased in her last illness gave evidence of her faith in Jesus. He whom she faithfully served in life and was most precious in her last hours.

A large number of friends were at the funeral.

Rev. Henry Love conducted the funeral services. The interment was in Rose Hill Cemetery, Petersburg.
