I, Thomas Frerichs, of the County of Menard, State of Illinois, do hereby make, publish and declare this my last Will and Testament, in manner and form following:
First: - I direct that all my just debts and funeral expenses be fully paid. Second: - I give and bequeath to my grand-children, Louis Caldwell and Harold Caldwell, children of my deceased daughter, Louise Caldwell, each the case sum of five dollars. Third: - I give, devise and bequeath all the rest, residue and remainder of my property of every kind and character, real, personal or mixed, wheresoever situate, of which I may died seized or possessed, to my wife, Hannah Frerichs, for and during the term of her natural life, and from and after her death, i give, devise and bequeath the same to my children; Carl Frerichs, Fred Frerichs and Julia Miller, share and share alike absolutely and forever. Fourth: - I nominate and appoint my wife, Hannah Frerichs, sole executrix of this my last Will and Testament, without bond. In witness Whereof, I have hereunto subscribed my name and affixed my seal at Petersburg, Illinois, this seventh day of December, A. D. 1936.
The foregoing instrument was subscribed, sealed, published and declared by Thomas Frerichs as and for his last Will and Testament in our presence and in the presence of each of us, and we, at the same time, at his request, in his presence and in the presence of each other, hereunto subscribed our names as attesting witnesses this 7th. day of December, A. D. 1936.
