EDDINGTON
Pearl, the eleven year old daughter of Mr and Mrs Jas Eddington, died at her home one mile north of Irving the cause her death being burns received from her clothing catching fire while getting supper about eight weeks ago. For a long time she was thought to be improving, but a few days ago she began to get worse and soon died. The funeral was conducted from the Irving M E Church by Rev Patrick, a large crowd being present as a last tribute of respect to the parents and in memory of the unfortunate girl. Four girls of about the age of the deceased were pall bearers and the Junior Epworth League of which Pearl had been a member, had charge of the singing. The burial was at the Irving Cemetery.
