Hospital for the 77th IL while in Camp in Peoria, IL

The building shown in the above halftone photo was used as the hospital for the 77th Ill while in camp opposite the pottery on North Adams Street in Peoria, Ill., forty-eight years ago.
The old house appears to have had nothing taken from or added to it in all those years.
The original photograph was taken by Jesse Sawyer especially for the production of the above halftone. The photo was taken from the southwest looking northeast, showing the rear and river side of the building. A portion of the old camping ground of the 77th can be seen beyond the building.
