Mr. EPPY, one of the oldest conductors on the Peoria Branch on the Rock Island Road, died very suddenly last Monday evening in Peoria of heart disease.

Death Takes the Father
Sunday Morning the death of Frederick KEIFER occurred at his home, No. 521 Third avenue, and the funeral occurred this
afternoon at 2 o'clock. Mr. KEIFER has been a resident of this only for more than thirty years, and was a member of the Royal Circle.
He was a cigar maker with Frank P. LEWIS, and leaves a family of ten children..

Buried Yesterday.
Mary B. CONLIN, the estimable wife of John CONLIN, was laid to rest yesterday afternoon.

LEONARD- Mrs. Mary A. LEONARD, at her home, 718 North Washington street, at 7:20 a.m. Monday, aged 6? years. Remains will be taken to Green Valley for interment at 7:15 Tuesday morning. Friends invited.
April 29~ Funeral of Mrs. Leonard
Funeral services over the remains of the late Mrs. Mary A. Leonard, who died last Monday at her residence, 713 N. Washington St., were held at the Green Valley church on Tuesday afternoon. The interment was in the cemetery at that place, the grave being lined with flowers and the coffin heaped with fragrant blossoms sent by loving friends. Mrs. Leonard, whose husband died some years ago, is survived by nine children, four daughters, five sons most of whom reside in this city. She was greatly beloved and her funeral was attended by a large concourse of sorrowing friends.

Mrs. Barbara MYERS died Tuesday morning at 1:15 o'clock, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Anna SCHAEFER ,301 Ann street, after a lingering illness, aged 67 years.
The funeral was held at 10 o'clock this morning at St. Boniface church and the interment was made in St. Joseph's cemetery.

Two Residents of St. Joseph's Home Pass Away Within 24 Hours

Within 24 hours of each other two residents of St. Joseph's Home for Aged People passed to the great beyond.

Jeremiah MURPHY died late Tuesday evening at the age of 61 years, after several weeks illness and yesterday afternoon his body was shipped to St. Louis where today it was laid to rest.

Mrs. Ann CALAHAN- The funeral of the late Mrs. Ann CALAHAN took place at 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon from her late residence, 707 Garden street,
to St. John's Catholic church and was largely attended. The services were conducted by the Rev. Father Quinn and interment was in St. Mary's cemetery.

Another of PONZELL Family Succumbs
The third son of one family to be taken in death within the last six months was called today when Diedrich Ponzell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Ponzell of Bartonville died from pneumonia,
a complication of influenza. An older brother Paul G. PONZELL died of the same cause just a week ago tomorrow and the mother and three other brothers, Carl, Fred and Abel are all suffering with influenza. One brother, Henry Ponzell, was buried at sea last October. The son who died this morning was the next to the youngest and was 13 years old. He attended the Bartonville school.
The funeral will take place at 2, Sunday afternoon at the Wilton Chapel and burial will be in the Bartonville Cemetery.

Mrs. P.E. Denmark, mother of Mrs. W. H. LUELLEN, a former Peorian who now lives in Honolulu, died Feb. 11 in Oakland Calif.
Mrs. Luellen had been with her mother in California since early January. Funeral Services were held in the Little Chapel of the Flowers, Berkeley, CA. and
interment was in Topeka, Kan. Besides her daughter, Mrs. Denmark is survived by two grandchildren, Jetta Lee and Doris Luellen.

Former Elmwood Man Dies in S.D.
Mrs. Tillie WOOTEN received word Saturday that Frank SWIM, a former Elmwood resident had died at a hospital in Aberdeen, S.D. following a heart attack Wednesday evening. Frank was 67 years old. Services were held Sunday in Brentwood S.D., with burial there.

Funeral Services for Joseph A. Nicholson, 60, of 208 George street, died at St. Francis hospital Saturday morning from injuries suffered in an accident at Crescent Mine No. 1 will be held at the Wilton mortuary chapel at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, with the Rev. E. T. Munns officiating. Burial will be in the Lutheran cemetery. Friends may call the mortuary after 4p.m. today.
At the inquest conducted by the coroner's office this morning, the jury returned a verdict of accidental death, evidence disclosing that Mr. Nicholson slipped and fell under a loaded coal car, suffering crushing injures to the pelvis and lower abdomen, fractures of both legs chick and severe internal hemorrhage.

Elmwood, feb. 21 - Funeral services for Mrs. Mary DeBACHER, 85, lifelong resident of Elmwood, died Saturday, will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Patterson funeral home. The Rev. Charles Vandettum will officiate and burial will be in the Elmwood Cemetery. Mrs. Nellie CALDWELL of Peoria is a sister.

Donald H. Loer, 48, of Lake Rd., Milwaukee, Ore., died Saturday, relatives in Peoria have learned. Surviving are his wife Cecale of Milwaukee, Ore.
and his mother, Mrs. Alphine SANDERS; sister, Mrs. Lester NEAL, and daughters: Mrs. Alphine MARQUES, Miss Maxine LOER, all of Peoria.
A third daughter Cpl. Betty LOER JENNINGS in the WAC at Camp Crowder, MO.. Mr. LOER was a veteran of World War I. Funeral arrangements have not yet been made.


John WINSOR-
Funeral arrangements for John WINSOR, 83 years old estate agent and long-time resident of Peoria who died at 6p.m. Saturday,

- Mrs. McCOY will be removed from the Abts mortuary to the home of his son, James McCoy, 1100 Caroline St., where friends may call after 2 this afternoon.

- Miss Lena NIEDERLANDER, 80, of 600 Illinois Ave., a resident here for 74 years and a retired dressmaker, who died Wed.
night at Francis hospital, will be held at 8 a.m. Sat. at the Boland mortuary and 8:30 at Sacred Heart church.
Father Baldwin will officiate and interment will be in St. Joseph's cemetery.
Friends may call at the mortuary this afternoon and evening and there will be a recitation of the Rosary at 8 p.m. tonight.

-Charles R. SAWYER, Funeral services for Charles R. Sawyer, 53, of 1912 S. Adams St., a lifelong resident here, who died Thursday morning at St. Francis hospital, will be held at 2p.m. Saturday at the Davison funeral home. Interment will be in Springdale cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home afternoon and tonight.

Services at the Wilton Mortuary chapel. Monday afternoon at 1.

PEORIA - Leong LEW, 74, of 116 W. First Ave., died at 5:20 a.m. Saturday at St. Francis Hospital where he was admitted March 28.
He was born September 9, 1885. He formerly worked at the Herby Woo Laundry on S. Adams St. and later at the Jimmy Woo Laundry on N. Adams St.
