Verna Prill 
PEORIA -- Verna M. Prill, 68, of 1703 S. Cameron Lane died at 7 a.m. Friday, April 14, 1995, at her home. 
Born Oct. 11, 1926, in rural Morton to Daniel and Susan Simpson Musselman, she married Dr. Clarence E. Prill on May 18, 1952, in Peoria. He survives.  Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Richard (Jeanette) Crowe Sr. and Mrs. Michael (Linda) Baumann, both of Mackinaw; two sisters, Marge Schmidgall and Doris Miller, both of Tremont; one brother, Dale Musselman of Morton; and five grandchildren. A twin brother preceded her in death. She was a member of Beautiful Savior's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Marquette Heights, where she was active with many groups. 
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at her church. the Rev. Daniel Schumann will officiate. Visitation will be one hour before services at the church. Burial will be in Lutheran Cemetery in Peoria. Arrangements are by Endsley & Son Funeral Home in Bartonville.
 
Verna Prill
PEORIA--Additional information has been provided for Saturday's obituary of Verna M. Prill, 68, of 1703 S. Cameron Lane, who died at 7 a.m Friday, April 14, 1995, at her home. Survivors include on son, Jeffrey of Peoria.  She was active in several Christian groups, including Gideons International.

Clarence Prill 
 
PEORIA -- Clarence E. Prill, D.C., 80, of Peoria, died at 10:59 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, 2005, at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center, Peoria.  
He was born April 18, 1925, in Peoria to John Elmer and Emma Lena Carolina (Duhs) Prill. He married Verna Mae Musselman on May 18, 1952, in Peoria. She preceded him in death on April 14, 1995. He then married Carol K. Thierer on May 4, 1996, in Groveland. She survives. 
Dr. Prill is survived by two daughters, Jeanette Crowe-James of Mackinaw and Linda (Steve) Stoops of Bartonville; one son, Jeffrey Prill of Peoria; two stepdaughters, Carey (Dan) Mack of Kansas City, Mo., and Kim (Bill) Atkins of Washington; five grandchildren, three stepgrandchildren; and one sister, Bernice Prill Grebner of Peoria. 
He was preceded in death by his parents. 
Dr. Prill graduated from Manuel High School, served in the U.S. Army during World War II, and attended Brown's Business College. He graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, and began his practice in 1950. 
He participated with the chiropractic associations working toward attaining licensure in Illinois for their profession, which occurred in 1959. His office was located for many years at 3030 W. Marquette St., Peoria. He was a member of Illinois Prairie State Chiropractic Association, Federation of Straight Chiropractors and Organizations, The Christian Chiropractic Association, and The Gideon's International. 
Dr. Prill also authored various chiropractic books and magazines articles throughout his career. He researched, developed, maintained and patented the very effective Prill Chiropractic Spinal Analysis Technique. 
Dr. Prill was a member and served as treasurer for St. John's Lutheran Church of Bartonville for many years, and active in his churches all of his life. At the time of his death, he was a member of CrossPoint Church of East Peoria., Ill. 
He was devoted to chiropractic, chiropractic research, his patients, his family, and his Lord. 
Funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2005, at CrossPoint Church in East Peoria. The Pastor Ed Gray will officiate. Burial will be in Lutheran Cemetery in Peoria. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Endsley Funeral Home in Bartonville, and again on Wednesday from 9:30 to 10 a.m. at the church. 
Memorials for Dr. Prill may be made to Gideon's International or Peoria Rescue Ministries.

John E. Prill
John E. Prill, 1111 Antoinette St., a resident of Peoria for 51 years, died at 7:30 p.m. yesterday at St. Francis hospital. He was 75 years old. Mr. Prill had been employed as custodian at Roosevelt Junior High school.

A son of August and Amelia Prill, he was born in Germany March 22, 1869 and married Emily L. Wolf, August 30, 1894. She proceeded him death May 8, 1943, in Peoria. Mr. Prill was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.

Surviving are three sons, Edward A. Prill, Adolph A. Prill and J. Elmer Prill all of Peoria; a daughter Mrs. Elsie Somogyl, also of this city; two sisters Mrs. Augusta Schmutzler, Pasadena CA., Mrs. Tilly Pralle, Crete, IL and one brother, August Prill, Chicago.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Zion Lutheran church with the Rev. H.C. Hafermann officiating. Interment will be in Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call at Frank M. Endsley funeral home, 601 Stanley St., tomorrow afternoon and evening at the church one hour prior to the services.

Mrs. John F. Prill
Mrs. Emily Louise Prill, 69 years old, 1111 Antoinette St., wife of John F. Prill, died at 11:50 a.m. today at her home following an extended illness. Mrs. Prill had lived in Peoria for the past 62 years. She was born in Alsace-Lorraine, Germany, October 27, 1873. the daughter of Louis and Catherine BAUER WOLF. She married Mr. Prill in this city August 30, 1894.

Mrs. Prill leaves her husband; three sons, Edward A., Adolph A. and J. Elmer Prill, a daughter, Mrs. Elsie Somogyl, a brother, Louis Wolf; a sister, Mrs. Richard Rauch and four grandchildren all of Peoria. Four sisters preceded her death, Mrs. Caroline Endres, Mrs. Sophia Meinert, Mrs. Christine Huber and Mrs. Louise Schmidt. Mrs. Prill was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. Funeral services will be announced by the Frank M. Endsley funeral home.

 Edward A. Prill

Services for Edward A. Prill, 75, of 2503 W. Howett will be held in Zion Lutheran Church, of which he is a member. The Rev. John M. Kordewich will officiate and burial will be in Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call at Endsley & Sons Funeral Home 1417 S. Stanley, until 8 tonight and at the church one hour before services tomorrow. Masonic services will be conducted at the funeral home at 7:30 tonight. Memorial contributions may be made to Zion Lutheran Church. Mr. Prill died at Bel-Wood Nursing Home at 8:15 yesterday morning.

He was born Jan. 8, 1896 the son of John F. and Emily WOLF PRILL, and married Elsie Otto in Peoria 1925. She preceded him in death, 1968. Mr. Prill is survived by two brothers, J. Elmer and Adolph Prill of Peoria. A sister also preceded him in death.

A millwright for Pabst Brewing Co. 35 years, retiring in 1961. He was an Army Veteran of World War I and a member of Schiller Lodge 335, AF&AM. Mr. Prill was a mason for Carpenter's Union Local 183, for 50 years and a member for over 50 years.

J. Elmer Prill
J. Elmer Prill, 88, of 815 S. Kickapoo Lane, died at 5:30 a.m. Thursday at Bel-Wood Nursing Home, where he had lived about a month.

Born March 8, 1899, in Peoria to John and Emile WOLF PRILL, he married Emma DUHS, Nov. 3, 1920, in Peoria. She died May 5, 1980, in Peoria. One sister and one brother also preceded him in death. Surviving are one son, Clarence E. of Peoria; one daughter, Bernice Prill Grebner of Peoria Heights; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Aldolph of Peoria.

He was the co-founder and president of Sheet Metal products Co. until retiring in 1976.
He was a member of Beautiful Savior Evangelical Lutheran Church in Marquette Heights.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Endsley & Son Funeral Home, 1417 S. Stanley, where
visitation will begin one hour earlier. The Rev. Larry Gates will officiate and burial will be in Lutheran Cemetery.

Emma Prill
Mrs. Emma L. Prill, 79, of of 815 S. Kickapoo Lane, died at her home at 11:55 p.m. Monday.
She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and was active in Indian relief work for many years.

Born Feb. 14, 1901, in Beardstown to Ludwig F. and Elsa K. HESS DUHS she married J. Elmer Prill in Peoria Nov. 3, 1920. He survives. Also surviving is one daughter, Mrs. Bernice Mae Grebner of Peoria; one son, Dr. Clarence E. of Peoria; two brothers Carl L. of Peoria; Elmer of Glasford; two sisters, Mrs. Marie Lang of Sebring, Fla. and Mrs. L.F. (Mathilda) Wutterauer of Peoria; five grandchildren and seven g-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow at Zion Lutheran Church, the Rev. John Kordewich officiating.
Burial will be in Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour before services at the church.
Memorials may be made to Zion Lutheran Church School Fund, the general church fund or Gideons International.
