Trolley bus -1931.

 These electric buses ran alongside the streetcars for a time. This "new bus" is on Hamilton Blvd with the Peoria County Jail in the back- ground (now razed). Service on the Monroe Line ran from 1931-1946. Men sitting on concrete is the barrier surrounding Courthouse Square.    [SS]
