Edgar C. Helvey, age 54 years, 10 months and 11 days,
passed away at his home in Freeburg, ILL, at 7:30 a.m.,
Wednesday, May 30, 1934, due to lingering illness.

He was born in Pinckneyville, ILL, July 19, 1879, the son
of the late Albert [Thomas Albert] and Francis [Frances]
Helvey, nee West.

On October 2, 1896, he was married to Miss Cora Smith
at Pinckneyville, who with their six children survive.

He was a member of Local No. 48, P.M. of A.

He leaves to mourn his passing his companion and six
children: Ivan, Gail, Lynn, and Russel, all of Freeburg, ILL,
and Grace, the wife of Mike Danbacher of Belleville, ILL,
and Miss Lucille at home with her parents. Also one brother,
Elmer Helvey of Pinckneyville, ILL., and three grandchildren
with other relatives and friends.
