Obituary
A.J. Logan

A.J. Logan, born to J.W. and Evaline Logan, July 19, 1868 in Franklin
County, passed away at the home of his son, James Logan, West Chester
St., Pinckneyville, Ill. at 3:00 o'clock Friday, March 24, 1944.

He was married to Caroline Prickett in 1893. To this union was born
one son, James Logan of Pinckneyville. She preceded him in death in
1894.

He was married again to Mrs. Elizabeth Lamour of Cobden. She passed
away June 3, 1927. In October 24th, 1928 he was united in marriage to
Cora Logan who preceded him in death 4 years ago.

Besides his son he leaves one sister, Mrs. Alice Evans of Jonesboro
and two grandsons, James Walter Logan who is in Service in Kelley
Field, Texas, and George J. Logan of Pinckneyville and a host of
nieces and nephews.

His health failed him 3 weeks ago. He entered Hiller hospital and was
there one week then he was moved to his son's home on Chester St.,
where he quietly passed away.

Funeral service will be at Beaucoup Baptist church at 2:00 o'clock March 26th.
