Clara A. Kilpatrick of Ava passed away on June 13, 1998 at Pinckneyville Community Hospital. She was 101 yearsof age.

She was born to Henry and Julia Germann Ditzler on September 25, 1896 in Sato, IL.
She is survived by two sons: Bobbie Kilpatrick and Carol Kilpatrick, both of Ava; twelve grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons: Gene and Shirley; two daughters: Colleen and Phyllis; nine brothers and two sisters.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ava and a homemaker.

She was laid to rest at Ava Evergreen Cemetery with Rev. William H. Pfau officiating.
