Funeral services for Lena Biot, 74, of Rt. 1, Du Quoin will be conducted Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. from Neal Memorial Chapel with Rev. Archie Akers officiating. Interment will be in Old Du Quoin Cemetery. Mrs. Biot died Monday at 8:50 a.m. in Barnes Hospital, St. Louis, Mo. She had been in failing health three years.

      Visitation is at the funeral home after 6 p.m. today.

      Born in Perry County Jan. 3, 1906, she was the daughter of the late Charlie and Lillie (Webster) Fred. On June 17, 1927 in Gary, Ind., she married Julian Biot who survives. A lifetime resident of the area, she was of the Baptist faith.
