Wayne I. Bridges, 78 Funeral services for Wayne Ira Bridges, 78, of Route 2, Tamaroa, were held at 1:30 p.m. today at Schwebel Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, with Reverend Keith Klosterman officiating. Interment was in Campbell Cemetery. Mr. Bridges died Wednesday, March 8, 1989, at Pinckneyville Community Hospital. Visitation was at the funeral home on Thursday, after 4 p.m. Born in Grace, Oklahoma, September 18, 1910, he was the son of the late Bertie E. and Bessie O. (Rall) Bridges. On March 31, 1934, in Pinckneyville, he married Iva Orlean Marlow who survives. A lifelong resident of Perry County and a retired employee of Missouri Pacific Railroad, he was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, 204 School Board and the Campbell Cemetery Board. Besides his widow, other survivors are three sons, Robert Allen Bridges and Edward Everett Bridges of Tamaroa, and Ricky David Bridges of Chester; four daughters, Bonnie June Bridges, Patricia Rae Haggard and Mary Sue Johnson of Tamaroa and Bessie Arlene Kozuszek of Nashville; one siter, Gladys Kujawa of Pinckneyville; 16 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Sonia May Bridges and a brother, Raymond Bridges.
