Dies in Nursing Center Alice R. Bullock, 77, of 120 South Walnut St., died at 2:25 a.m., today, June 16, 1987, in Fairview Nursing Center. Born December 12, 1909, in Du Quoin, she was the daughter of the late Owen and Cecil (Hester) Newborn. On April 14, 1929, in Du Quoin, she married Garnie Bullock who preceded her in death in 1964. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Gordon (JoAnn) Tasker of Kingman, Kansas and Mrs. Don (Mary) McDonald of Murphysboro; two sisters, Mary Bahre of St. Louis, Missouri and Helen Bowlin; 16 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Besides her parents and husband, one daughter, jean Moore, two brothers and a sister preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held Thursday, at 2 p.m., at Searby Funeral Home, Du Quoin, with Rev. Joe Hankla and Rev. Gordon Tasker officiating. Interment will be in Old Du Quoin Cmetery. Visitation is at the funerlal home on Wednesday, from 6 to 9 p.m.
