Mary Byars, 82, of 610 E. Samuel St., Christopher, died at 8:45 a.m. Monday, Sept. 28, 1987, in Life Care Center in Benton.

      Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday (today) in the Old Du Quoin Cemetery.

      Memorials may be made to the Life Care Center.

      Mrs. Byars was born July 4, 1905, in Christopher to Logan and margaret Silkwood.

      She married Luby Byars. he died in 1957.

      Survivors include one son, Glenn Byars of Christopher; one daughter, Theola Bouffiou of Christopher; one sister, Orben Wilson of Christopher; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

      One daughter preceded her in death.
