Graveside services for Wiliam T. Carney, 91, a resident of Fair Acres Nursing Home, will be held Sunday, at 2 p.m., at the Old Du Quoin Cemetery. Mr. Carney died Friday, February 27, at 9:45 a.m., at the nursing home. There is no visitation.

      Neal Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

      Born in Wabash, Ind., February 13, 1896, he was the son of the late Jim and Clara (Cook) Carney. On May 10, 1944, he married Ruby Moore in Green County, Ark. She preceded him in death in November 1982. He was a member of the Non-denominational Church and was a retired taxi cab owner and operator.

      Surviving are a brother, Carl Carney of Christopher and several nieces and nephews.
