Mrs. Mary Knapp Carpenter Mrs. Mary Knapp Carpenter died at her home, No. 201 West Henry street, at 1 o'clock Thursday afternoon. She is survived by five children. Mrs.W.H. Lawrence of Horseheads, Mrs.Fred S.Collier of Winkle, Ill., Mrs.Thomas Ragland of Winkle, Ill. Frank Knapp and Miss Harriet Knapp of Elmira; two brothers, Hiram Randall, of Ellis, Kan., and Jesse Randall, of Buffalo; two sisters, Mrs. Susan McAfee, of Waverly, and Mrs. Hattie Grace, of Buffalo

In typical fashion of the time, Mrs.Fred S.Collier of Winkle, Ill. and
Mrs.Thomas Ragland of Winkle, Ill. were not identified by their first
names. Their birth name was Knapp. They were daughters of Mary Melissa
Randall Knapp and David G. Knapp.
There were five girls in that family. The above women could have been Sarah, Minnie, Emma, Jennie.
