Funeral services for Iva Jean Davis, 54, of 324 E. South St., Du Quoin, will be at 2 p.m. Tueasday at Searby Funeral home in Du Quoin. Burial will be in the Old Du Quoin Cemetery.

      Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

      Mrs. Davis died at 9:45 a.m. Sunday, June 3, 1984, in Marshall Browning Hospital in Du Quoin.

      She was of the Baptist faith.

      She was born Aug. 22, 1929, in Marion, to George and Noma Carter Davis.

      Survivors include two daughters, Twana Melvin and Tonga Stroud, both of Du Quoin; four sons, James Davis, Wayne Davis, Donald Jackson and Michael Jackson, all of Du Quoin; five brothers, James Davis, John Hester and Bill Davis, all of Du Quoin, Ray Davis of Colorado and Wallie Davis of Marion; on esister, Pauline Lively of Du Quoin; six grandchildren.
