Obituary of Zoe Dunn

Zoe Dunn Children of Mrs. Zoe Dunn have written the Evening Call expressing their appreciation for the kindness shown by Du Quoin friends following their mother's death July 27th. She died in Los Angeles during an operation for removal of a face cancer, the letter said, and the attending physician asserted that she could not have lived more than two months at the most. Mrs Dunn had been undergoing surgery for the past four years in an effort to cure the cancer. The Reverend Walter H. Harriss, brother of Judge Judson Harriss and a former pastor of the First Baptist Church Du Quoin, read the funeral service and Mrs Dunn was buried in the Chapel of Roses Cemetery in San Diego. The letter was signed by the following children: William Dunn, Mrs Pearl Meads, Miss Jewell Dunn, June Dunn, Harry Dunn and Miss Mary Dunn.
