Eva Egbert, 97, of Pinckneyville, died August 15, 1992 at the Marshall Browning Hospital in DuQuoin.

      She was a retired school teacher in Perry County, a member of the Baptist Church of Denmark where she also taught Sunday School and was a member of the Perry County Home Extension.

      She was born at Denmark May 18, 1895 to Harry and Lettie Moye Tessier.

      She married Lawrence W. Egbert October 5, 1921 at Benton. He preceded her in death.

      She was also preceded in death by two sisters, one brother and one great-granddaughter.

      She is survived by two daughters, Dorothy Winter of Pinckneyville and Audry Rudloff of Sparta; one sister, Alice Green of Ava; seven grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

      Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, August 17, 1992 at the Denmark Baptist Church with Rev. C. L. McKinnies officiating. Burial was in the Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery in DuQuoin.
