Robert Eugene Eichorn, 61, formerly of Du Quoin and Memphis, Tennessee, died of an apparent heart attack at 9:30 p.m., Wednesday, October 24, 1987, in Houston, Texas, where he had been a resident.

      A retired employee of Texaco Corp., after 27 years, he was an Army veteran of World War II.

      Funeral services were held Saturday, October 17, 1t 2:30 p.m., at Memorial Park Funeral Home, with burial in Memorial Park, Memphis.

      Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Carol Eichorn; two sons, Craig Eichorn and Scott Eichorn, both of Houston; his father John R. Eichorn of Memphis; and a sister, Mrs. Vito (Dorothy) Romeo of Memphis.
