Aurelia Emling, 70, of 733 S. Madison St., died at 11:45 a.m. Tuesday in Marshall Browning Hospital.

      Born Aug,. 28, 1912 in Du Quoin, she was the daughter of the late Adam and Lizzie (Mann) Martin. On Oct. 5, 1932 in Du Quoin, she married Jake Emling Jr., who preceded her in death on july 9, 1973. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and had been active in the Altar Society, Sewing Circle and the Blue Army Prayer Group. Mrs Emling was a lifetime member of the community.

      Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 10 a.m. from Sacred Heart Church with Msgr. Angelo Joseph Lombardo VG offficiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
