Genevieve Margaret Foertsch died August 18, 1988 in Sparta hospital.

      She was born September 1, 1925 in St Louis to Bernard and Margaret (Bicket) Bouas. She married Floyd Foertsch August 5, 1947. He survives, as well as a host of friends.

      Memorials were to the American Cancer Society.

      Mrs. Foertsch was an elementary school teacher for 27 years, and taught in the Swanwick, Winkle and Pinckneyville schools. She attended the United Presbyterian Church in Swanwick.
