DU QUOIN - Eva b. Griffin, 82, of 109 S. Division St., died 8:01 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 23, 1986, in Marshall Browning Hospital.

      Mrs. Griffin worked in the Wyman's and Friedman's stores in Du Quoin. She was a member of St. John United Church of Christ, and the Marshall Browning hospital Auxiliary.

      She was born Aug. 16, 1904, in Perry County, to John A. and Ida Wilson Bowlin.

      She married John Theodore Berg in Du Quoin. He died in 1938. She married Glen Griffin in 1949 in Arkansas. He died in 1971.

      Survivors include twin daughters, Audrey Davis and Eula Linzee, both of Du Quoin.; one sister, Lois Taylor, Belleville; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

      The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday in the Searby Funeral home, with burial in the Sunset Memorial Park.

      Friends may call from 5 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
