DU QUOIN- Franklin Harris, 67, of Route 2 died at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 23, 1989, at Marshall Browning Hospital.

      Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Neal Memorial Chapel, with burial in Old Du Quoin Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.

      Mr. Harris was a farmer, mechanic and truck driver.

      He was born Oct. 18, 1921, in Vergennes to Frank and Lola (Farmer) Harris.

      He married Bertha Louise. She died in 1979.

      Survivors include four sons, Neal and Bobby Harris, both of Sesser, Danny Harris of Dowell and Jerry Harris of Gulfport, Miss.; one daughter, Betty Jaidah of Oxford, Miss.; one brother, Roy Harris of Vergennes; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
