Long Illness Fatal
To W. T. Heberer,
85, Retired Farmer

      William T. Heberer, 85, well-known retired farme, passed away today at Marshall Browning Hospital, where he had been a patient since April 26.

      Born near Hecker on November 9, 1863, the deceased moved with his family to the old Heberer farm southeast of Du Quoin when he was nine years of age. He has been a resident of this area since, and has made his home with Misses Callie and Allie Thing for the past 27 years. he was a son of the late John and Johanna Heberer and attended the First Presbyterian church.

      Surviving are six sisters, Margaretha Louis and Mesdames Herman and William Appuhn, John Zoller, Charles Eichorn and R. S. Shook. One brother, Carl, preceded him in death

      Services will be conducted from Schroeder Funeral Home at 2:30 p.m. Friday by Rev. Mayo Bowles, pastor of the First Methodist church. Burial will be in Old Du Quoin cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Thursday.
