Vincent Leon "Vince" Jausel, 48, of Swanwick, died suddenly September 15, 1990 at the Sparta Community Hospital Emergency Room. He was self-employed as a carpenter. He attended the United Presbyterian Church in Swanwick. He served in the U. S. Army. He was born in Pinckneyville September 7, 1942 to Kermit V. and Wilma F. Ibendahl Jausel. He married Shirley Ann Goetz September 23, 1967 in Pinckneyville. She survives. He is also survived by one son, Darwin of Swanwick; one daughter, Carmen of Murray, Kentucky; one brother, Norbet Lee of Swanwick and two sisters, Estella Alene Runyon of Coulterville and Althea Joan Hinds of Swanwick. He was preceeded in death by his parents. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 18, 1990 at the United Presbyterian Church in Swanwick with Rev. J. Vernon Berneking officiating. Burial was in the Bethel Cemetery in Swanwick.
