Retta "Belle" Kuhnert, age 94, of Pinckneyville died in the Pinckneyville Hospital on November 8, 1995, at 3:33 a.m. Mrs. Kuhnert was born on August 21, 1901, in Pinckneyville, IL the daughter of Andrew and Nancy (Morgenthaler) Glover. She married Herman Kuhnert on August 21, 1919, in St Louis, Mo., and he preceded her in death on September 2, 1972. She was a member of the Beaucoup Baptist Church in Pinckneyville, the Golden Age Sunday School class, the Pinckneyville Senior Citizens and the home extension. Survivors include two sons, Roy O. Kuhnert and his wife, Ann, of Pinckneyville, IL and Robert L. Kuhnert and wife, Janice, of Steeleville, IL; three daughters, Roberta F. Edgar and husband, John, of Ava, IL, Melba G. Bouas and husband, Charles, of Maryville, Mo., and Lois V. Morgenstern and husband, Karl, of Elkville, IL; one brother, Raymond Glover and wife, Ursula, of Ohio, IL; one niece, Marilyn Hicks of Tamaroa, IL; one nephew, Jimmy Glover of northern Illinois; 15 grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 12 great-stepgrandchildren; and one great-great-grandson. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sons, Carl and Melvin, two daughters, Alberta Kuhnert and Ida Belle Beckman, one brother, Lawrence Glover and his wife, Velma, and one infant sister. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 10, 1995, at the Beaucoup Baptist Church in Pinckneyville at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Ed Stutz officiating. Interment will be in the Mueller Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held today from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday from 8 to 9:30 a.m. at the Pyatt Funeral Home, then at the church until time of services. Memorials may be made to Mueller Hill Cemetery or the Beaucoup Baptist Church.
