Richard A. Lively, 59, of Lansing, formerly of Willisville died at 3:30pm Sunday, March 9, 1997, at Lansing. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Wilson's Funeral Home in Steeleville with the Rev. Richard A. Newcom officiating. Burial will be in Cutler Cemetery. Visitation will be after 4 pm Thursday and from 7:30 to 11 am Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Calumet Area. Mr. Lively was a 33-year employee of Hulett Corporation in Thorton. He was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church of Willisville. He was an avid fan of stock car races. He was born January 1, 1938, in Campbell Hill to Henry and Martha Smith Lively. His mother survives of Willisville. Other survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Tracy Lively of Lansing; one daughter, Tina Collins of Munster, Ind.; four grandchildren, Kiersten Ann and Richard Anthony Lively and Timothy and Sharon Collins; one brother and sister-in-law, Terry and Dixie Lively of Granite City; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Dixie and Omar Nagel of Campbell Hill and Henrietta Bailey of Willisville; numerous nieces and nephews; and his former spouse and her husband, Sharon and Dave Adams of Munster, Ind, and their children, Angella, David and Jessica Adams. His father preceded him in death.
