SWANWICK -- Louis Blair McIntyre of Swanwick, Illinois, passed away at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Belleville, IL on July 30, 1991, at the age of 60 years.
He was born in Cutler, IL on December 3, 1930, the son of Clyde Graham and Helen (Blair) McIntyre. On June 20, 1951, in Cutler, IL, he was united in marriage to Joyce Cunningham and to this union was born two sons. Blair was a member of the Swanwick Presbyterian Church and the United Mine Workers of America. He was an electrician for the Zeigler preparation plant at the Spartan mine. He was a veterans of the Korean conflict, serving with the U.S. Air Force. Surviving are his wife, Joyce, of Swanwick, Ill.; two sons, Jeff of Swanwick and Joel and his wife, Rita, of Pinckneyville, Ill.; his mother, Helen Monteith of Swanwick, Ill.; two brothers Edward and his wife, Geneiva, of Swanwick, Ill., and Marshall and his wife, Helen, of North Canton, Ohio; and one grandchild. He was preceded in death by his father, one granddaughter and one grandson. Funeral services will be held at the Pyatt Funeral Home in Coulterville, Ill., on Saturday, August 3, 1991, at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Joseph Berneking officiating. Interment will be in the Bethel Cemetery in Swanwick, Ill. Friends may call at the Pyatt Funeral Home in Coulterville, Ill., on Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. and on Saturday from 8 a.m. until services. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
