Cleta A. Mohr, 76, of Pinckneyville, died February 29, 1984 at Belleville Memorial Hospital.

      She was a retired school teacher, a member of the Galum Presbyterian Church, a trustee of the church, secretary of the Missionary Society for many years, had been Sunday School superintendent and taught Sunday School for many years.

      She was born in Perry County April 14, 1907 to George H. and Alice Bergfeld Berg.

      She married William Mohr in 1929. He survives.

      She is also survived by one son, Lowell and his wife, June of Pinckneyville; two grandsons; four great grandchildren; two sisters, Hilda Stein of Pinckneyville and Mabell Wilson of Madison, Wisconsin and several nieces and nephews.

      Services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 3, 1984 at the Galum Presbyterian Church with Rev. Leo Copeland and Rev. J. V. Berneking officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
