Obituary of Cosmo J. Smith

Cosmo J. Smith Retired Railway Inspector Dies: Cosmo J. Smith, a retired car inspector for the Milwaukee Railway, died Friday in a local hospital. He was born in Tacoma 68 years ago and had lived here all his life. He was a member of the Grace Methodist Church, the Afifi Temple of the Shrine, the Scottish Rite Bodies, Tacoma Lodge No. 22 F&AM, and the Railway Carmen's Association. He is survived by his wife, Jeannette, of the family home at 1425 East 35th St.: a daughter Mrs. Viola Jean Goldberg of Tacoma; a son Comso L. of Washington, D.C., and five grandchildren. Services will be announced gy the C.C. Mellinger Co.
