Blanche B. Weatherford, 89, of Pinckneyville, died July 28, 1982 at the Pinckneyville Community Hospital. She was a member of Galum Presbyterian Church and a member of Pinckneyville War Mothers. She was born in Perry County, Illinois February 17, 1893 to S.J. and Ella Brown Rule. She married George Weatherford August 16, 1914 in Belleville. He survives. She is also survived by one son, Morse of Pinckneyville; two daughters, Mrs. Essa Bird and Betty Weatherford, both of Pinckneyville; three grandchildren, Micky Sue Peveler, Steve and Douglas Bird; one great grandchild Benjamin Peveler. She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Virgil and one brother, Earl Rule. Services were held at the Pyatt Funeral Home in Pinckeyville at 1:30p.m. Friday, July 30 with Rev. Leo Copeland officiating. Burial was in Mueller Hill Cemetery. Friends called at the Pyatt Funeral Home in Pinckneyville. |
