Lena Woll was born in Perry County, Dec 26th, 1860 and died June 8th, 1918, at the age of 58 years, 5 months, and 13 days. She leaves to mourn her death 9 children, 5 daughters, and 4 sons, namely: Mrs. Elizabeth Emling, Mrs Eva Emling, Mrs. Julia Hess, Mrs. Mary Hirsch, and Mrs. Susie Franklin, all of Perry County, also two sons Joseph and Adolph of Perry County, and two sons Henry and John, of Murphysboro, Jackson County, Ill. She leaves 36 grandchildren, 3 brothers, Adam Schumaker of Du Quoin, Michael of Murphysboro, and Adolph of Belleville, Ill. two sisters, Mrs. Lizzie Zoller, of Murphysboro, and Mrs. Sophia Frees, of Quincy, Ill. Adam Woll, her husband, was born in Germany on June 18th, 1842, and later came to America and located in Perry County, where they have toiled together many years. Mr. Woll died February 13th, 1916, at the age of 74 years, 7 months, and 23 days.
