Mr. and Mrs. Logan Conner of Pleasant Hill will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. Dec. 2 in the American Legion Hall in Pleasant Hill. Hosts will be Gertrude Phillips, Stan Phillips, Judy Phillips and Paul and Nancy Phillips.

Friends and relatives are invited.

Mr. Conner and the former Neta Crowder were married Dec. 2, 1939, in Bowling Green, Mo., by the Rev. Owens Baxter. Attendants were Gertrude Phillips, sister of the bride, the late Chester Crowder, father of the bride; and the late Paul Phillips, brother-in-law of the bride.

Mrs. Conner is the daughter of the late Chester and Addie Graham Crowder. Mr. Conner is the son of the late Robert and Clemma Franklin Conner.

Mr. Conner was employed in road construction for 31 years before retiring in 1979. He is a World War II veteran.
