One by one our Heros of World War II are
leaving us. There are only a few of the WW I vets still with us. All of us have been touched by someone in the military. All of us owe a debt of gratitude
that we can never repay. Everytime you see a man or woman in the US Military -- shake their hand and give them a hug. They are
keeping us free and safe.

THANK A VET
Another veteran left us today
For that muster in the sky
Their ranks on our old home front
Are quickly passing by
We saw them off many years ago
And welcomed them back home
They did their part, right from the start
And now we’re left to mourn
These men so young, who left their homes
To bravely do their part
To save our country and our way of life
They were brave right from the start
Guthrie is gone, Kinscherff too,
Hubbard left last month
And now it’s Burge, he’s not the last
These hero’s of the past.
So say hello, and thank a vet
While they are still with us
They fought to give us freedom
They deserve a salute from us.
To all my WW 2 hero’s…….
