Overseas 13 December, 1917. In battles of Touton Troyon, Aisne Defensive, Chateau-Thierry, Argonne-Marne, Marbeck, St. Mihiel, Meuse-Argonne. In Army of Occupation. Cited for valor in operation November 1-11 in Meuse-Argonne Sector. G. O. 88, Hdq. 2nd Div., 31 December 1918. Discharged at Camp Grant, IL 14 August, 1919.

#2 BRADBURN, CLARENCE E. Major, 7th Field Artillery Son of Mr. and Mrs. David N. Bradburn of Whitehall, IL. Born at Nebo, IL 25 October, 1887. Graduated from West Point Military Academy in 1913. Promoted to Captain in May, 1917. Arrived overseas 13 August, 1917. Promoted to Major in July 1918. Served with 1st Div. through all campaigns and battles. Two citations for distinguished service. Resigned 1 August, 1919.

#3 CHANDLER, MARTIN, WILLIAM Corporal, Co. C, 117th Field Signal Battalion, 42nd Div. Son of E. H. and Nettie B. Chandler of Pearl. Born at Pearl 16 Jan., 1896. Enlisted at El Paso, TX, 28 June, 1917 Arrived overseas 1 Nov., 1917. Appointed Corporal 16 Aug., 1918. Saw service in Lunneville, Baccarat, Champagne-Marne, Aisne-Marne, St. Mihiel, Meuse-Argonne Discharged at Camp Grant, IL 20 May, 1919.

#5 COLLINS, Virgil E. Sergeant, Hdqts. Co., 163rd Inf. Son of Mr. and Mrs. James E. Collins of Springfield, IL. Born at El Dara, IL 28 Dec., 1893. Enlisted at Quincy, IL, 29 August, 1918. Sent to Camp Dodge, IO. Discharged at Camp Dodge 8 May, 1919.

Appointed 1st class private 16 Dec., 1917;Corporal, 16 Mar., 1918; Sergeant 1 June, 1918. Overseas 22 July, 1918. Discharged Camp Devons, Mass. 14 March 1919.

#7 ELLEDGE, CLEMENT Private, Co. C, 16th Marines. Son of Frank and Fannie Elledge of Chambersburg. Born at Chambersburg 26 June, 1900. Enlisted at Chicago, 13 June 1918. Trained at Paris Island and Quantico, VA. Overseas 25 Sep 1918. Discharged at Hampton Roads, VA, 13 August, 1919.

Overseas Oct. 22, 1917. Cited for bravery June 8, 1918 at Chateau-Thierry. Wounded Nov. 1, 1918 at Argonne Forest. Discharged at Chicago July 21, 1919.
