The descendants of William Carroll and Ethel Louella Thomas Lewis met for their annual reunion August 3, 2008 at the Lion's Club Building in Pleasant Hill. The oldest person present was June Lewis of Winchester, age 103. The youngest was Gavin Smith of Woodland Park, Colo., age 23 months. Nellie Smith of Murrayville, age 94 and the only surviving child of William C. and Ethel L. Thomas Lewis was also present.

Descendants were present from five states. Atteding from California were Wendell and Ruth Baughman from El Centro. From Colorado: Eric, Kim, Parker, Payten and Gavin Smith of Woodland Park. From Illinois; Gene McKee from Nebo; Lowell, Bill and Barb McKee from Pleasant Hill; Ron and Estelene Hayden from Milton; J.R. and Roberta McKee; Norman, Rhonda, Abigail, Timothy and Alexis Lewis from Jacksonville; June, Wallace and Vista Lewis and Samuel Smith from Winchester; Roger and Janet Bonnett; Wayne and Edna Baughman; Ken and Linda Donohoo from Pittsfield; Nellie Smith; Ed and Carolyn from Plattsburg; and Dave Smith from Columbia Ken and Marilyn Wierschke from Greenleaf, WI.

The 2009 reunion will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, August 2, 2009 at the same location.
