STATE OF ILLINOIS, Montgomery Courts} ss Affidavit for Administration

I do solemnly sear that I will well and truly administer all and singular the Goods and Chattels, rights and credits, and effects of Amasa Smith, deceased, and pay all just claims and charges against his estate, so far as his Goods, Chattels and effects shall extend, and the law charge me; and that I will do and perform all other acts required of me by law, to the best of my knowledge and abilities.

Sarah A. smith being duly sworn, deposeth and said that Amasa Smith late of the county of Montgomery and State aforesaid, departed this life on or about the 3rd day of September A.D. 1861, and that he died Intestate, to the best of his knowledge and belief.
