Percy Pigee

Percy Pigee, age 67, born April 25, 1939 and passed away suddenly on February 26, 2007.

He retired from General Motors after 32 years of service and began working at the Sliding Door part time.

He was preceded in death by his parents; four sisters; and four brothers.

He leaves to mourn his devoted wife, Annie; three daughters, Daronda (Renee) Bey of Cleveland, Ohio, Anita Daniels and Sonja Jordan of Joliet, Illinois; two sons, Bonny Jordan, Jr. of Joliet, Illinois and Dwayne Pigee of Atlanta, Georgia; fourteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; one brother, Nathaniel (Edwina) of Mound City, Illinois; numerous brother and sisters-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Sunday, March 4, 2007 at Brown Chapel A.M.E. Church, 1502 Mills Road, Joliet, IL from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 7:00-8:00 p.m. Service will begin at 8:00 p.m. Rev. Lishers Mahone, Jr. officiating. Interment Monday, March 5, 2007 10 a.m. at Elmhurst Cemetery, Joliet, IL.
