Russell L. Shourd

Russell L. Shourd of Burton, MI, age 83, died Monday, October 30, 1995 at Heartland Health Care Center in Ionia, Michigan.

Funeral service will be held at 11AM Thursday, November 2, 1995 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Ernest E. Davis officiating. Burial in Flint Memorial Park. Visitation 1-4 and 6-9PM Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mr. Shourd was born in Ullin, Illinois on October 31, 1911 and was a long time resident of Flint. He was past president of the Flint Realtor Board. He owned his own real estate company in Flint for over 25 years.

Surviving are his children, Lorn and wife Barbara of Flint, Fred of Grand Blanc, Jeanette and husband Gary Canton of Berkley, Michigan; 8 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; sister, Edna Mae Fisher of Palo, Michigan; other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Esther Marie.
