Homer 'Mack' Akin

Homer 'Mack' Akin, passed with loving family members by his side Sunday, April 22, 2001.

 Mack was born on Nov. 3, 1923 in Mound City, IL. Married his beautiful wife Patricia Jean, Carbondale, IL after serving in the U.S. Army Air Corps. 52 years with Patsy, five children: Michael, Julie, Jan, David and Charlotte. Four grandchildren: Michael, Clayton, Graham, Julianna.

Retired North American Steel Co. 1983. Member of Ferguson United Methodist Church for over 40 years. Mack was an excellent golfer, trout fisherman and fine cook.

We will greatly miss him as he goes in faith to join our Mother with the Lord.

Funeral Service Tues., April 24, 10 a.m. at Ferguson United Methodist Church, 33 S. Florissant Rd., St. Louis, MO 63135.
