Cleophous "Cle" Baker, 69, of Sikeston died Wednesday, July 24, 2002, at his residence.

He was born Nov. 28, 1932, in Caruthersville, Mo., son of Clifton and Jessie Mae Carter Baker.

He graduated from Lincoln High School in Sikeston. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War.

Survivors include a son, Ivory Joe Baker of Detroit; four sisters, Shirley McClellon of Sikeston, Addie Dortch, Gloria Kirkwood and Orma Robertson, all of Chicago; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 1 p.m. until the funeral time at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Freewill Missionary Baptist Church. The Rev. Victor Williams will officiate and burial will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the National Cemetery in Mound City, Ill.
