J. Russell Bayless

J. Russell Bayless, 85, of Decatur, died at 11:10 P.M. on January 14, 2005, at Manor Care Health Services.

Funeral Service will be 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 18, 2005 with visitation one hour prior to service at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL. Burial will be in Cerro Gordo Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to American Heart Association.

Russell was born August 21, 1919 in Grand Chain, IL., the son of Rollie C. Bayless and Irene (Weiss). He married Helen Myers on April 10, 1971 in Decatur, IL.

He was a millwright with Carpenters Local #742 and a member of Moose Lodge #684. He and his wife loved ballroom dancing.

He is survived by his wife, Helen; two daughters; Susan Wolf and husband Larry, Collinsville, IL.; Barbara Heger and husband Jan of Laguna Niguel, CA., one sister; Lois Rehg of Columbia, IL., two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother.
