Annie Magenta (Ashworth) Beaver

Mrs. Magenta Beaver, age 68 years, died Sunday night while
visiting at the home of her granddaughter, Mrs. Ray Briggs, in Naperville,
Ill.
Mrs. Beaver was a member of the Congregational Church, the
Eastern Star, Lodge No. 509, the White Shrine No. 58. the Rebekah Lodge
and the Mound City Woman's Club.
She was preceded in death by her
husband, James E. Beaver, on July 2, 1948 and also a son, Raymond E.
Beaver, on July 27, 1948.
Survivors include one son, Roy Beaver of
Cairo; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and other
relatives.
The body is at the Gunn Funeral home where friends may
call. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the funeral
home with Rev. William Wiggins, pastor of the Congregational Church of
Mound City, officiating. Internment will be made in the family lot in
Thistlewood Cemetery. Gunn Funeral Home is in charge.
