MaryRuth Shelton Cannon

MaryRuth Shelton Cannon, age 84 of Smyrna. June 10, 2006. 

She was a native of Karnak, Illinois and the daughter of the late Roy and Mary Lowry Shelton. 

Private Family Services will be conducted in July, 2006. 

She is survived by daughter, Melissa Cannon of Nashville; brothers, Wayne Shelton of New York, Charles Shelton of Smyrna and Robert Shelton of Texas; sisters, Juanita Skipton of VA, Helen Knight of Memphis and Kathryn Hall of McKenzie. 

She was preceded in death by a brother, James Shelton and a sister, June Smith. Mrs. 

Cannon was married to the late Wilbert Cannon, a member of the Methodist Church and retired magazine editor with the United Methodist Church.
